Our Health and Wellness Program

Get active, stay healthy, and discover inner peace – our high schools Health and Wellness program offers a well-rounded approach to lifelong wellness. Physical Education classes focus on building a strong foundation in fitness concepts and developing a love for movement through team sports, individual activities, and lifetime fitness pursuits. Complementing these classes is our Health curriculum, providing students with the knowledge and skills to make informed choices about their physical and mental well-being.

Course Descriptions

Physical Education Strength training is an exceptional way for all people regardless of fitness level to improve mental, spiritual, and physical strength, confidence and one’s self esteem. Students will learn to safely use and navigate equipment in the wellness room. Course goals, provide all students with knowledge of skills and ability to execute basic strength training movements and strategies. The course will introduce beginner, intermediate and advanced training techniques and engage with kettlebells, dumbbells, barbells, resistance bands and much more. Students will learn and practice to work together, support, encourage and hold each other accountable to be their best.
